THEY NOW LIVE IN THE REMAINS

THEY NOW LIVE IN THE REMAINS

Some of the survivors of Carama flooding live in the remains and others are still living in displacement camps. They are still hoping  that one day, some people who care, will make them smile again and be resettled in their own homes. Remember, during the Bujumbura flooding, one couple lost their 6 children, killed by torrential rains and over 100 people died.

The current living situation of those families is horrible as they do not get enough food to eat and live in the remains of the houses that can fall on them any time.

To build one home it costs $998, a home that can accommodate a family of 7 to 10 people. . A home is one of the most important things which contribute to the good living and security of a human being. Until this time I am writing this report, only $210 have been donated for this project.

As we continue to share the needs of Carama Survivors, I do hope and believe that donors will consider making donations to this project, so that we can help the survivors of Carama  rebuild their homes,  in their own  land.

Until this  project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. You'll know what your donation has helped fund, what accomplishments we have achieved and what our current needs are.

Thank you so much for your consideration to help JRMD   make a difference in Carama survivor  community.
