With your help we have raised $800. This means we're close to the goal of $1,000, which sponsors one student's enrollment at BPP for an entire semester. We do not yet know what the fall semester holds in store for us, but we are certain that BPP will keep its doors open (either virtually or in-person) to students this year.
BPP staff and students are currently enjoying their summer break, despite record rains and heat in Nicaragua this year. Families are preparing for a variety of possibilities for the fall as health concerns still prevent many from working or attending in-person events.
We still have over $4,000 more to raise in order to sponsor 5 students for the next semester, and hope that our annual Back to School fundraising efforts help us reach that goal.
