Literacy is more than the ability to read and write—it is a cornerstone of empowerment, especially for marginalized women in Northern Uganda. For women like Margret, literacy has opened the door to social and economic opportunities that were once out of reach.

Through our recent literacy and numeracy training program, 240 women graduated with the skills needed to support their families and grow their businesses. These women are now better equipped to manage their finances, keep accurate business records, and engage confidently in their communities.

Margret, one of the graduates, shared her story:
"Before this training, I couldn’t understand how to track my income or expenses. Now, I can calculate my profits and even plan for future investments. I feel empowered and ready to expand my small business."

This project has not only boosted economic independence but also fostered a sense of dignity and self-worth among the participants. Literacy empowers women to take control of their lives, contribute to their communities, and break the cycle of poverty.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supporters who made this program possible. Your commitment to uplifting women is changing lives in remarkable ways.

Let’s keep the momentum going! Support us in empowering more women with literacy and numeracy skills. Together, we can create lasting change and build stronger, self-reliant communities.
