Lushomo lost her husband to covid 19 in 2021 and she was left with 5 children to take care of.
She had to figure out ways to pay for her children school fees and also provide shelter and food for them.
She heard about the women entreprenuership program run by Kukula Solar and attended the trainings and was given a starter kit of 26 lights. She sold the 26 lights in hours and managed to make to make a $30.
Today Lushomo makes an average of $140 monthly, enough to buy food, pay rentals in a 3 roomed house and save for her children education.
With your continued support, many women like Lushomo would benefit from this program.
Thanks so much for your support and looking forwaard to your continued support in 2024.
