We have created incubation fellowships for dynamic Pakistani women smes at The Buraq Center by LADIESFUND, in partnership with WeConnect International who will be training them in supply-chain. Women like Maheen Bilal, Turtles, received an order from a North American company for 800 of each of two children's clothing items, but simply did not have the infrastructure to fulfill the order that was offered to be paid in advance. This milestone, company-changing opportunity had to be turned down.
So, we have partnered with WeConnect International to train 15 talented SME women in supply chain. In addition to the WeConnect International training there will mentorship offered, funding through State Bank of Pakistan loans, and several other trainings throughout the year for which your funds will help cover the costs of.
It's time to remove obstacles and barriers and for women to rise. Thank you for your continued support. Please also spread the word.
