Your support helps to protect women's health and prevent cervical cancer

Thank you for supporting Dignitas' lifesaving medical and research programs. Your gifts are helping to prevent cervical cancer for women and girls in Malawi where the rates of this disease are the highest in the world.

Research shows that if pre-malignant cells are caught early, then cervical cancer can be prevented. And your support for early detection means that Dignitas can help protect women's health and prevent cervical cancer in Malawi. Women living with HIV are especially vulnerable to this devastating disease.

You are helping us to scale up our integrated innovative model of care so that healthcare workers are empowered to fully meet a patient’s health needs during a single clinic visit. This will help conserve limited resources and improve the quality of care received by patients who will no longer have to travel to multiple sites to access the services they need.

Your donations to Dignitas are helping to:

  • enhance understanding of patient demands by tracking patient need and use of  health services
  • train health providers to increase proficiency with new technology and tools
  • engage policymakers within Malawi’s Ministry of Health with our proven approach for collaboratively scaling up integrated models.

With your continued support, we hope to build much-needed capacity within Malawi’s health system to prepare the country to manage this growing health issue and to prevent this, and other non-communicable diseases, from reaching epidemic levels. Thank you!
