This project will help 10 vulnerable women in Tunisia rebuild their lives through psychological support, entrepreneurship training, and small business grants. Interlinks organization will provide counseling, mentoring, and startup support for income-generating activities such as home-based food production, sewing, and online selling to improve financial independence and emotional wellbeing.
Many vulnerable women in Tunisia, especially single mothers and women facing psychological distress, struggle with unemployment and social isolation. Limited access to mental health support and economic opportunities makes it difficult for them to rebuild stable and independent lives. Many women have practical skills such as cooking, sewing, or selling products, but they lack the financial resources and guidance needed to turn these abilities into sustainable income-generating activities.
10 vulnerable Tunisian women are provided with individual psychological counseling and emotional support to address barriers such as low self-confidence and social isolation. They are trained in practical entrepreneurship skills (budgeting, pricing, and marketing) and mentored to develop income-generating activities such as sewing, home food production, handmade crafts, or online selling. Each woman is also granted startup funds to purchase equipment, materials, or initial supplies.
This project will enable 10 Tunisian women (currently facing poverty and unemployment) to build sustainable small businesses and achieve financial independence. They will be able to provide for their families' basic needs, including food, healthcare, and education for their children. The mental health support provided will also allow them to become more confident, active members of their communities, creating a ripple effect that benefits an estimated 30 to 50 family members directly.
