Dear donors we would like to thank you one more time for you donations and for your involvement in the elderly life from Moldova.
The elderly from the Republic of Moldova live on the edge. According to a study carried out by the World Bank, more than half of the elderly in our country live from hand to mouth. A report by the National Bureau of Statistics (BNS) shows that 16 percent of the population is elderly.
According to the same sources, the pensions of the elderly are very small to cover daily needs.The pension is not enough to buy medicines and food, cloths etc
Recently the Day care center was hosted a volunteer from Italy Lucia Giglio. In her feedback report she said "Neoumanist is a fan for the hot summmer, a meal in winter time a smile for ones that wouldn’t have more, a tear for ones who need to cry, a safery pill to follow life but mostly a resurgence inside the desert of loneliness, an oasis for the ones that are thirsty of justice a bath that smells of humanity".
We can change their lifes together.
