Dear Donors,
On 1st of October we celebrate International Elderly Day, on this occasion we bring our words of gratitude and respect to all seniors. We wish them long and wealth live.
This year we organize a party with participation of the children from local kindergarten than presented a special program dedicated to seniors: they sing, dance, recite poems and have fun with our seniors. We were visited by a group of Students from Social Assistance department that presented musical surprise.
In the same time two clients had possibility to visit our Parliament and to discuss with deputies. They discussed problems they faces and came with some suggestion for improving the pension system, the access to medical and social qualitative services.
At the beginning of September we hosted a group of 18 volunteers from the Netherlands. The aim of this visit was to volunteering and to help seniors from our project. During two weeks volunteers managed to repair three houses , organize excursion to monasteries, museums ,parks, pizzeria, involved in social activities, did small reparation at the center and have a lot of fun. Very nice and interesting experience .
All these activities were possible to implement also due to you involvement and care for seniors from Moldova. Thanks alot for your support!
