Dear donors
On behalf of the Neoumanist beneficiaries we would like to express our deepest respect for your contribution to our project. Thanks to your donation it was possible to continue provide services to social vulnerable elderly.
Thus more than 300 elderly have the possibility to enjoy ageing and more important to communicate with other seniors. One of most serious problem of the elderly is isolation, lack of communication and marginalization. Though all our programs we promote active ageing and try to increase autonomy and well-being of the elderly living in Straseni, help them to became more visible and participate actively in the society in the same time we aware the local authorities and communities about the issues of elderly.
Within our programs seniors receive food, medication, care, wood, coal etc. They have possibility to join the Dance class, English class, Women club and Chorus, Handmade hours and practice ergo therapy.
Recently we celebrate St Valentine’s day together with Students from State University of Moldova, social department and we tried to prove that love is ageless. The result of the meetings was very positive and everybody enjoy the time they spend together.
We will end the report with Mother Teresa quote: It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.
