Terror Survivors Lack Mental Health Support

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Help Victims of Terror Attacks Get Mental Health project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned mental health support activities have not yet begun.

Many survivors of terror attacks continue to live with trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional distress without access to counseling or therapy services. In many affected communities, mental health care is either unavailable or too expensive for survivors and their families to afford.

Without early support, many survivors struggle with fear, isolation, difficulty returning to work or school, and long-term emotional pain. Families and children are also affected by the psychological impact of violence.

This project is designed to provide financial support for counseling, therapy sessions, trained mental health professionals, and community-based support groups for survivors of terror attacks. Educational materials on coping and recovery will also be shared within affected communities.

With the right support, survivors can begin healing emotionally, rebuild confidence, and regain stability in their daily lives.

We remain hopeful that support will come so this important mental health project can begin and reach vulnerable survivors in need of care.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support.

Sincerely,

Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
