Sacred Innocence had made a big change. We have taken this last year and re-wrote our mission statement. We started out helping survivors 18 years and older with a healing program called HEAL with a membership site and virtual support groups. We felt the children were a missing piece of our work. We decided to split our business. We made our work for survivors 18 years and older a for profit subscription based business and changed Sacred Innocence to helping children 17 years and older. Our new focus on children will always be on healing and prevention. We are creating a website for children that parents can go through to learn about sexual abuse and domestic violence. Because our mission is global, we are focusing on international relations with governmental entities and how they regulate orphanages in their countries. We have created an orphanage watch and plan to implement it in 2023. Sacred Innocence goals are: 1. Create website for families, young victims, and professionals to take their clients through to find healing and education. 2. Work with governmental entities as consultants for orphanage maintenance and how the children can be more protected. 3. Hold educational virtual conferences to protect children and educate the public about breaking the cycle.
As a team we are so excited to fill this gap and help protect children. We believe children should be the most protected group of people, and unfortunately, they are not. We will be actively campaigning this year to bring resources to child survivors.
Thank you,
Wendy
