By Vikki Farrell | Managing Director
Our Vanderful team is happy to announce the launch of the Surf Sufficient workshops in Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique, starting this coming week. These workshops are in collaboration with expert sustainable surfboard shaper Sergi from @flamasurf and non-profit organisation @lwandisurf, we aim to revolutionise the surfing industry through innovation, education and sustainability.
However, to ensure the success of this transformative project, we need your support. While the workshops are set to commence soon, we are still in need of donations to fund essential materials and resources. Your contribution will enable us to provide hands-on learning experiences, promote sustainable practices and empower the youth of Ponta do Ouro with valuable skills and knowledge.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in shaping a brighter, more sustainable future for surfing and communities in Ponta do Ouro.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the supporters of the project, including Wawa Wooden Surfboards, Paulownia Italy, Banca di Udine, the Jose Lopez Foundation and our project collaborators. Your generosity and commitment to sustainability and community development are invaluable in driving positive change.
Throughout April, we will be sharing updates and news about the project on our social media platforms (@vanderful_adventures) and websites (vanderful.org / seedsofhope.eu), as well as on the platforms of our collaborators. Stay tuned for inspiring stories, behind-the-scenes insights and opportunities to get involved.
Let's ride the wave of change towards a brighter, more sustainable future for surfing, communities and our planet!
Thank you for your support and encouragement.
Best wishes,
The Vanderful / Seeds of Hope ODV Team
