Every week we clock up over 200km minimum travelling to and from Selwane. Quite frequently we are having to travel in for animal emergencies at a moments notice. It is becoming increasingly difficult as we only have one private car that is available, but only intermittently.
The funding for the car is slow and steady but we are seeing progress. Not as fast as we would have hoped for but we will get there! Not only do we do funding through GlobalGiving, we also use a percentage of volunteer donations and save them in the car fund.
Hopefully soon we can secure a larger grant for this but at the moment we haven't been able to.
