Hi All,
Firstly thank you for your support, it hasn't gone unnoticed, we continue to raise much needed funds to support our vet bills.
Some of you will remember Tara the Akita.
She came to us after living quite a solitary life, in a garden with no residents in the home, they lived elsewhere and came to feed her.
Tara was very arthritic and she was also diabetic, both which we treated immediately. Unfortunately she lost her sight but given the shitty life she had previously we decided to give her her sight back and she had both eyes operated on, her vision was back and she got a new lease of life.
She has been back and forward to our vets to check blood sugars etc and during her last visit she was found to have 2 Mammary tumours . Her glucose levels are all over the place and vet suspects she may have internal tumours also.
At the moment she is happy with her Mammy Erica and only time will tell her outcome.
Sadly we lost one of our foster dogs Sam to cancer recently and we really don’t want to lose Tara too . She is going for pre operation xrays and a scan this week to see what is happening there.
Please keep her in your thoughts if you can donate towards Tara’s vetcare please do!
