Every day, around 150 children rely on our center for care, education, and support. We provide a safe environment, meals, and complementary education to bridge gaps in the formal system. Through sports, music, theatre, informatics, workshops (cooking, ceramics, carpentry), and outings, we foster their growth. Sustaining this work means offering stability and helping build a better future for every child and their families.
In a country facing constant economic crisis, with high levels of poverty and inflation, children - the most vulnerable members of society - are the ones who suffer the most. With each generation, the situation becomes more difficult. Informal employment, limited access to quality education, poor nutrition, and inadequate living conditions deeply affect children's ability to learn, build healthy relationships, and, most importantly, shape their future.
In our day care center, every children has a safe space to spend their time after o before school, depending in wich shift they attend. they get 3 meals, school support, sports, music lessons, art crafts, computer lessons, and different workshops such as carpentry, ceramics, sewing, and many different activities throughout the year. All this activities, plus professional support, expands their perspective of future and support families in vulnerable social and economic situations.
In the long term, our children are better prepared to face life's challenges. They are more likely to complete primary and secondary school, build healthier social relationships, and develop healthier habits and stronger life skills. The support they receive encourages them to pursue a better future, continue their education, and believe in opportunities they may not have imagined possible. Many go on to attend university, while others secure jobs they once thought were out of reach.
