ver the past three months, Hogar de Día El Arca de Noé has continued providing daily care, education and support to around 150 children and their families in Paso del Rey. The number of children currently participating in our activities has been temporarily reduced due to the limitations caused by the fire, the ongoing recovery of our facilities, and the current economic situation, which has made it more difficult to maintain the full team of teachers and all the activities traditionally offered at the Hogar.
Education continues to be at the center of our work. Children receive support with their schoolwork and participate in activities that complement their formal education, while also developing creativity, social skills and new interests. We also continue providing daily meals and spaces for recreation and personal development.
This quarter, we have continued making progress in the recovery of the Hogar following the fire that damaged several of our classrooms and workshops. The donation of computers has been an important step toward restoring our computer classroom. In addition to using the equipment for educational activities, we are developing the idea of offering basic computer maintenance and repair workshops for children and teenagers aged 12 and older, turning the recovery of the space into a new learning opportunity.
Our priority remains the same: to sustain a place where children can learn, receive support, develop their abilities and have access to new opportunities. We continue working to restore our facilities, strengthen our educational programs and gradually recover the activities that have historically been an important part of the Hogar.
