Dear donors and supporters,
This year we have started with a good hope ahead - we are aiming to articulate two initiatives around wetlands; (i) our current 'Mucura' wetland's award for which this project is here on GlobalGiving, and (ii) a new project which is currently under review for support from an external entity, linked to lake Tota (more details here).
If we succeed, by May this year we will be able to design that articulation, and present the 'Mucura' award call for 2023 within our province of Sugamuxi, motivating others with that second project example to be developed by our NGO. Otherwise, there will be no alternative in the short term than to insist on creating momentum for better funding to our Help Us Raise Wetland Conservation by Prizing Kids initiative, and define a later date for this year's calendar for our award.
We will keep you postred through our reports!
Thank you all for your support, and please do not forget of how important it is for this project on GlobalGiving to be shared out there, among your friends, family and groups - to do so, just follow this link.
Kind regards,

Dear donors and supporters,
We are currently facing same challenges as previously reported for this project. We of course want to thank you all again, present and future supporters, for your kindness in considering the support you are giving to this project and, to our nonprofit.
Challenges are due to lack of financing, so we clearly need to persevere and explore for other ways to get a proper funding to continue. Once we are able to fulfill the objective to proceed, we will inform it. Therefore, please keep tuned, because this lovely initiative will overcome its challenges and will continue, to maintain its hope in motivating wetland conservation on rural areas to bring benefits for children and youth, in their communities.

We are facing challenges ahead with this project, due to current lack of financing. It is not much what we have budgeted for it, still as it is expected we need the proper backing to reach our goals in the best possible manner. Recent applications have not succedded as we wishes, so we need to persevere.

Dear donors and supporters,
We have a made a pledge from an application sent to a wetlands grant, to create a new version of our Mucura wetlands award for this year, soon afterwards in case we succeed with it. And this coming World Water Day there will be an announcement, so we have fingers crossed.
It has taken longer than expected for us to commit with our award this time, but we have not been able to fundraise the minimum needed for our logistics and, of course, to prepare the whole set of prizes to reward participant children. So we must wait a little bit, to get completely ready for it.
Thank you all for being supportive with us and this project, and new report will hopefully tell about terms and conditions to apply for Mucura wetlands award this time.
Kind regards,
Felipe Velasco

Dear donors and supporters,
We have been confirmed a special support for this year's call in our MURURA award. It is an important brand for optics, so valuable for nature observation, and they have offered to us a pair of binoculars to be given as a prize for the winner this year.
To learn more about it, we prepared this post in our fan page, so you are invited to explore it: see here | And also in our news tab, within the MUCURA's web page, here.
Now it's time for making our definition of terms and conditions and publish them ASAP, to distribute this information in our province, and keep on going!
Your support is very much appreciated to continue with our initiative, and be better prepared year after year. Please consider sharing about this project with your group of friends and contacts, aiming to strengthen our funding for this program that aims at motivating kids and youth on wetland conservation.
Thank you!
