Help Us Provide Shelter for Orphans in Dormaa Area

The orphanage has entered into operational phase and progress is being made on daily basis. The workers as well as the first child we have in the home are all doing well.

We have also begun work in the community helping other kids who desire to be in the home, but we think it will be better for them to stay with their extended family.

Over the past month, the orphanage was approached to help a widow with eight (8) children. The woman and her children lived in an uncompleted house in Ghana. Their house did not have doors and windows. Social support structures do not exist in Ghana to help such poor widows who most often do not have education.

The orphanage managed to provide small seed money ($400 which is big money in Ghana) to the widow to trade with to support the family. In addition, the orphanage provided basic school supplies (uniforms, sandals, books, lunch money) for three of the widow’s young children to go back to school. Going forward this project created for the building of the orphanage will be retired on this platform. A New project has been created for the operational phase of the orphanage. We will continue to provide you periodic information on the operational activities of the orphanage.

We would like to invite you to join us in sharing a blessing of helping orphans/needy children that our orphanage takes care of. Could you please help us with $10 per month commitment? This could be the cost one sandwich per month.
