Hi Everyone,
We continue to make progress on the orphanage project in Africa (Ghana). The essential portion of work that we continue to do on the project is furnishing of the facility after all building construction tasks were completed in 2015.
In 2016, so far we have extended electricity to the facility and switched on power. The national grid was 600 feet away from the orphanage facility and as is done in Africa, it was the orphanage responsibility to provide electrical poles, cables, etc. to get the electricity to the site (See attached pictures of electrical poles, cables and light)
We have also furnished the facility with kitchen equipment namely: Fridge, Range (Cooker), Deep Freezer, and Microwave Oven (Please see attached pictures of Kitchen equipment).
Again, we have provided a clearner drinking water to the facility by drilling a mechanized water borehole. An electrical pump will be connected to the borehole. An overhead tank has been purchased and is being errected on a concrete structure to help distribute water by gravity to the facility. This is nessitated by the fact that there is no pipe water close to the orphanage.
Provision of furniture, beds, kitchen cabinets, households items, etc. is still ongoing. If everything go as planned, we hope to commission the project in the first qaurter of 2017.
We will appreciate any financial assistance you can offer us. Our project is in a remote area of Africa and we do not have big financiars. We rely on small donors like you to make progress on this project.
Thank You
