Much progress has been made this year on the orphange project. Among tasks completed this year are the following:
1. The plumbing work has been done
2. Electrical work has been completed
3. A well has been dug for the facility
4. Window glasses have been fixed
5. Septic system has been constructed for waste water and drainage system
6 The entire building has been painted.
I led a team of 3 American volunteers to Africa to complete some of these tasks listed above. In the coming months, and depending on the availability of funds, we intend to buy furniture, beds, and kitched equipment for the building. We will also be training workers for the eventual opening of the facility which is earmarked for the second half of next year (2016). Please see attached pictures. Thank you
