For all who have contributed to help our orphanage project in Ghana (Africa), we would like to thank you. Your help has really enabled us to make so much progress on the project.
This project was started by me some few years ago. Our aim is to build a 50-capacity orphanage facility to take care of disadvantaged children in the Dormaa area of Ghana where I come from. With your help, over the past few years we have put up the building, roofed it and completed initial electrical and plumbing works. We have fixed doors and plastered the whole building.
There are still some tasks to do to complete this project. The outstanding work includes: final electrical installations, completing plumbing fixtures, providing louvered glass windows, putting in a septic system, and digging a well to provide water to the facility.
In July of this year a small group of volunteers and I, majority of whom are Cummins engineers are travelling to Ghana to complete the final electrical installations and paint the whole building.
I would appreciate if you can help the project with any financial contribution to help undertake some of the tasks listed above. With your help we can give hope to some disadvantaged children in Africa. Mother Theresa said, “If you cannot feed a thousand then just feed one”. Together we can make a difference. Nothing is too small. A small dollar amount in the US can do so much in Africa
