I am happy to report that after our April 2013 financial campaign we have had great progress in the construction of the Orphanage facility in Ghana (Africa). A representative/volunteer group travelled from the USA to Ghana in the last part June 2013 to work with local contractors to help complete tasks listed below:
1. The Orphanage building facility consisting of 12 rooms (Dormitories, Offices, Kitchen and store rooms), 13 bathrooms/toilet facilities have all been completely roofed.
2. A total of 28 door frames for the Orphanage building have been provided and fixed
3. A total of 47 window frames for the Orphanage building have also been provided and fixed.
New tasks ahead to be tackled when funds become avaialable include:
a) Providing and fixing Electrical wiring for the building
b) Providing and completing Plumbing works for the building
c) Plastering of the building
