Help us give 30 sixth-grade students in Siloe, Colombia a safe, equipped classroom where they can learn with dignity. Right now, their classroom has no desks, no audiovisual tools, and a damaged ceiling that leaks when it rains. Your support will provide furniture, repairs, and learning tools to transform their education and daily experience.
At Colegio La Fontaine, we're committed to providing the best learning environment for our 440 students in Siloe. While we've equipped 9 classrooms this year for grades 4-9, one classroom remains in urgent need of help. The small, crowded space is difficult for 30 students to navigate. When it rains, the ceiling leaks and the classroom floods. We need your support to improve the conditions for our sixth graders and create a better space for learning.
This project will equip the sixth-grade classroom with new desks, proper lighting, and a reliable audiovisual setup. We'll repair the leaking ceiling and install window blinds to reduce sun exposure. Additionally, we'll add more electrical outlets and a router for Wi-Fi to support technology-based learning. These improvements will create a safer, more functional, and inspiring space where students can fully engage and thrive.
By improving the learning space, this project will have a lasting impact on 30 sixth-grade students, enhancing their ability to focus, engage, and succeed. With a safer, more comfortable environment, these students will be able to learn without distractions from flooding, poor lighting, or lack of technology. The improvements will also positively affect teachers, enabling them to deliver more effective lessons and create a better learning atmosphere for this school year and the years to come.
