The PRIDE India works towards empowering marginalized rural and urban communities to lead lives filled with dignity and self-respect. It envisions a society based on equal opportunities and human rights through the promotion of holistic development of the communities.
As an Emergency Response to help these worst affected families in the COVID 19 crisis, The PRIDE India provided the support of food grain and hygiene packets during this hour of crisis to the affected vulnerable families like tribal, widows, old age elders and the differently able people helping them sustain during this pandemic. This will ensure that their children and families are safe and that they do not become victims of malnutrition and hunger.
So far, PRIDE India has reached out to 15661 families, benefitting a population of 78305 beneficiaries from Marathawada (2676), Raigad (4930) and Mumbai (8055).
These families are very grateful to PRIDE India and its well-wishers as with this support received they and especially their children were saved from hunger and malnourishment.
