The coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns have severely affected the poor and the marginalized families the most. The loss of jobs and livelihoods of the daily wage workers and labourers further pushed these families to the brink of starvation.
The PRIDE India has reached out to the needy communities living in urban and rural Maharashtra with the relief support of food grain and hygiene packets during this hour of crisis. Each packet included dry food grains and hygiene material sufficient for one month for a family of 4 to 5 members.
The families were grateful and thankful to PRIDE India and its well-wishers for this support as it helped them to feed their family members and stay healthy and indoors, and also and safe during this hour of crisis.
