Thanks to the support that we have received so far we have been able to start helping teenage mothers in Sierra Leone return to school. They have been provided with support packages to help them care for their children and they have been given uniforms, rucksacks and bags so that they are able to return to school.
Enclosed is a story from one of the girls that we have helped as a result of the Girls Speak Out Appeal!
With your support these girls and many others will be given the chance to continue with their education. UNICEF research shows that even a single year of secondary education has the potential to increase a girl’s future earnings by up to 25%. By investing in Aminata's education, you are giving her hope for the future - so for this we thank you!
We look forward to continuing to update you as we get closer to our target of helping 15 teenage mothers!
