The Nava Juarez Family is now living in their new home and they couldn´t be more thankfull!
After a few weeks of finishing the last details of the house they have now moved in and are looking forward to start buying their furniture and all they need for their new home. The house has 3 bedrooms, a complete bathroom and an area for the living room.
The kids are really excited to get their own bedroom and have their own space and privacy.
This project was a great opportunity for their family and we are very thankful to everyone who contributed in the project.
The volunteer efforts came out just as planned, 18 kids from Peterson school went to the construction, worked for 3 days and left the house advanced to a 60%. The construction of the house was a very satisfying activity for the kids, they lived the whole process of the construction and got to see the work the construction workers do everyday. The Nava Juarez family was so excited and helped a lot during the construction, they made a really nice bond with all the volunteers.
After the volunteer program the Construyendo workers have been finishing the last details of the house. The Nava Juarez family has been very welcoming with the Construyendo workers and they will be living in their new home in a few days.
For the construction of the Nava Familiy, the Peterson School organized their community to raise the funds and be the volunteers! They organized events for the fundraising and are excited to meet the family! They have set the date for May30th and now are preparing for their adventure! The community is doing a three day project where they will build 60% of the home. This project will help the school have awarness to social issues and bring the community closer together! The Nava family is all set up to recieve the volunteers, they are excited to meet the kids and are planning different activities for them!
The Nava Juarez home is finally on the last stage! The volunteer efforts were a success! Over 50 students joined forces for a three day effort and build the first stage of the new home! They had the best time with the family and emotions were on the very high! The students could really experience a volunteer effort and could see first hand what their time can achieve. The Nava family was extremely grateful and did the cooking for all the supporters! It was a weekend full of love and unity! Now our professional team will be staying for three more weeks to finish the home and do the final and professional touches! We'll keep you posted ! Thank you!
