We are working with local charities and organisations to make life easier for those living on the streets of South East Essex this winter. South East Essex has one of the highest rates of rough sleepers and homelessness in the country. Many of these men, women and young people have mental health and addiction issues that require various agencies to work together to address. It can be difficult for individuals to ensure their donations make the most impact.
South East Essex has one of the most serious Homeless and aggressive begging issues in the Country which is causing issues for local shoppers and businesses. The homeless deserve professional help and begging is said to raise approximately 70 pounds per day. Research says that most of this money would go on funding a drug or alcohol addiction. Please support this project by changing the way you give and donating to our fund.
This project will help by raising much needed funds to help the local service providers deliver the aid needed. We are asking people to consider supporting our project to enable us to help local homeless charities to help any people rough sleeping. This is about showing compassion to the vulnerable by donating at this time of year so those who really are without accommodation get the right support they need from the variety of support services and charities in the area.
The Long Term impact would be to reduce the number of homeless people sleeping rough and reduce begging. This will improve the quality of life for those currently homeless by providing shelter, food, counselling and healthcare. This in turn will improve the quality of life for the local community by removing the threat of intimidation from sleeping in doorways and begging.
