Project Report for Dec 2017, Jan 2018 and Feb 2018
Thanks a lot to Global Giving and all our supporters who have generously come forward to Donate in the year ending campaign of Global Giving and help us raise decent amount of funds.
The new year brought in new hopes and more energy to work for our cause. The year ended with struggle for Donors to donate blood. The year end festivities brought in some difficulties for Children with Thalassemia as they find it difficult to source blood for transfusion. With lots of people travelling and in festive mood there is an acute shortage of blood donors.
With the new year, we saw promises by people to pitch in for more voluntary Blood Donation as well as of funds. Led by the staff at Aarohi who willing filled the gap by donating. We also had lots of walk-in Donors who were motivated enough to leave their work and spare time to donate blood.
The collective support of Blood Donors help us give Blood for transfusion to about 500 children in the last 3 months.
The children are relaxed and happy getting the Transfusion they require.
