The loss of farmland and fruit trees has a lasting impact on families who depend on agriculture for their income. In Al-Maland village in Idlib, farmers are still facing the consequences of the devastating wildfire that damaged their orchards and disrupted an important source of livelihood.
Our project continues to focus on helping affected farmers restore their agricultural lands and gradually rebuild their livelihoods. Planned support includes fruit tree seedlings, agricultural supplies and tools, as well as practical training to help farmers restore their orchards and reduce the risks of future fires.
Rebuilding a burned orchard takes time, but restoring a farmer’s ability to produce again can provide lasting benefits for an entire family.
The need for support remains, and continued funding will be essential to help turn these plans into practical assistance for affected farmers.
We remain committed to supporting Syrian farming communities as they work to recover, restore their land, and build a more secure future through sustainable agriculture.
Thank you for caring about Syrian farmers and the families whose livelihoods depend on their land.
