Summer High School Student Exchange
We are excited to have six Ishinomaki High School students visiting Richmond, VA and Washington, DC for homestays with families in both areas! They will arrive August 11th and departing August 17th with three nights with families in each area. Three of the students now in high school were taught by Taylor. All of the students come from different high schools in Ishinomaki and we are most grateful to Aya Nakagawa of Project Yui for helping us recruit the students. We are pleased to further develop leadership and independence skills by having a student leader who participated in the exchange two years ago and having Richmond and Washington, DC students help plan the exchange. We would also like to thank All Nippon Airways for their continued support! Watch for our Facebook posts when the students are here to enjoy the news of the exchange!
