TAMF has started to maintain and provide new books for the original Taylor Bunkos and plans to maintain and provide new books for all bunko’s going forward as they reach approximately ten years of service. Work began on them in the workshop of Mr. and Mrs. Endo, the creator of the bookshelves, for two Ishinomaki schools, Mangokuura Elementary School (dedicated in September 2011) and Watanoha Elementary School (dedicated in February 2012). Mr./Ms. Endo presented the principals of both schools with book vouchers so new books of their choice can be added. Mr and Mrs. Endo honored their three children with newly created benches for Watanoha ES where they attended school.
A new Taylor Bunko has been set up at the Sendai YMCA International Hotel College, where TAMF has a scholarship program, and a presentation ceremony was held on March 15th. The presentation ceremony was attended by bookshelf creator and TAMF advisor, Mr. Endo. Book vouchers and books were delivered to Principal Kato. This is the 33rd location of a Taylor Bunko.
