During the past two months, mexican community foundations have been actively participating in peer-to-peer sessions, organized and supported by Comunalia, where they are able to share their experiences and learn from one another. We have cocreated three communities of practices, to promote peer-to-peer learning. Based on our experience, peer-to-peer learning has a very profound effect on individuals and their work and as such, it becomes an asset for community foundations. One of the community of practices is targeted for Executive Directors of the 17 community foundations; another one is directed to individuals who work on fundraising and the last one articulates program coordinators. Each of them is facilitated by Comunalia’s personnel and on average one person from at least 10 different community foundations participate.
