Dear Sponsors,
We are WOW Tanzania, and we are excited to announce that we are opening our second branch in Zambia known as WOW Zambia. The need in Zambia is urgent and, in many cases, even greater than what we have seen in Tanzania. The number of children living on the streets has more than doubled, rising from approximately 35,000 to 75,000. This represents an increase from about 0.9% to 1.6% of Zambian children who now call the streets their home.
Through our work in Tanzania, we have had tremendous success stories—children who once had no shelter, no access to education, and no hope for the future are now safe, in school, and thriving. With this experience and proven approach, we are ready to extend our mission and share our knowledge to help homeless and impoverished children in Zambia.
Our operations are currently based in the Copperbelt Province and are in the process of registering to expand our work into Lusaka. We already have dedicated volunteers on the ground, along with a committed team of professionals ready to lead this effort. What is missing is you.
With your support, we will immediately begin providing safe housing solutions—whether through building shelters, renting safe homes, or enrolling children in boarding schools where they can receive stability, care, and education. Every child’s situation is unique, and we are committed to finding the best solution for each one.
Your sponsorship will do more than provide shelter—it will restore dignity, create opportunity, and give a child a future filled with hope.
Thank you for standing with us and helping us transform lives.
