Since our last report, we have continued our animal welfare efforts in Pachacamac, a vulnerable area where many families face economic challenges and access to veterinary services remains limited. In this context, free and low-cost spay and neuter campaigns continue to be an essential tool to prevent animal overpopulation, reduce suffering, and support responsible pet care within the community.
During this period, we successfully completed 113 spay and neuter procedures, directly helping animals and families in Pachacamac. These interventions will have a lasting impact, preventing more than 2200 dogs and cats from suffering over the next 12 months by reducing the number of unwanted litters and animals at risk of abandonment and neglect.
We remain committed to continuing our work in Pachacamac and other areas of Peru reaching more animals and pets of low-income families who need support.
Our next goal is to raise $3000 more to bring help to the animals of the jungle of Peru for the first time!
