Join the fight against poverty in Togo! This Action10 initiative supports women entrepreneurs in rural Togo's Maritime Region by providing small loans, training, and coaching. With your support, we can help 200 women build sustainable businesses, strengthen local economies, and create lasting change. In February 2021, we reached our initial funding goal of USD 10,000 and we have now raised the target.
Poverty persists in rural villages, which have very limited access to financial resources and opportunities. Despite these challenges, many people in the area are determined to improve their economic situation and create a better future for their children. Traditional financial institutions are often inaccessible, leaving most with limited options for obtaining loans.
Action10 provides small loans, training, and coaching for women entrepreneurs in rural Togo. Through workshops on bookkeeping, business management, and weekly coaching, we equip them with the skills to succeed. Women form cooperatives for mutual accountability and support. With your help, we can expand this program, empowering more women and driving economic growth in the region.
By empowering women with the tools to succeed in business, we are creating sustainable livelihoods, improving access to financial resources, and strengthening local economies. Most participants have successfully repaid their loans, demonstrating the effectiveness of our approach and creating a cycle of empowerment that continues to uplift more individuals. Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and help communities thrive.
