Bangladesh is in the midst of a profound road accident crisis, with hundreds injured and countless lives lost each day. In the face of this pressing humanitarian challenge, PATHWAY has stepped forward to provide crucial support to road accident victims, helping them regain hope and dignity in their most difficult times.
In July, we encountered a critically injured individual who was denied medical care simply due to financial hardship. Recognizing the urgency, PATHWAY acted immediately, negotiating hospital discounts and arranging comprehensive treatment. Thanks to this intervention, the patient is now on a promising path to recovery.
Then in August, we assisted another victim—an amputee struggling without a wheelchair. Financial limitations made acquiring one impossible, severely impacting daily life. PATHWAY provided a wheelchair, bringing newfound independence and relief to the victim and their family.
These stories exemplify the difference we can make, yet the scale of the road accident crisis in Bangladesh is immense and requires greater support. To extend our reach and help even more victims, we urgently need increased funding and resources. We invite you to join us in this mission to restore lives and bring relief to those affected by road accidents. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
