One of the people your support has helped is Dmytro, a sapper who lost part of his leg below the knee after being injured during humanitarian demining operations.
Thanks to timely medical care, rehabilitation, and prosthetic support, Dmytro was able to rebuild his life step by step. Today, he is not only walking confidently with his prosthesis but also enjoying an active lifestyle again, something that once seemed impossible.
Recovery has also opened the door to a new purpose. After completing his rehabilitation, Dmytro left the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and joined the Superhumans Center, where he now supports people beginning their own recovery journeys. Having experienced rehabilitation himself, he understands both the physical and emotional challenges patients face and offers encouragement through his own example.
Stories like Dmytro’s remind us that rehabilitation is about much more than physical healing. It is about restoring confidence, independence, and the opportunity to build a meaningful future. Every contribution to this project helps injured sappers take those important steps toward recovery and a new beginning.
Thank you for standing with us and with the brave people who risk their lives every day to make Ukraine safer. Your generosity continues to create a lasting impact.
