Girls, boys and adolescents, as well as their families, are part of several savings groups that we accompany throughout 2023 in various areas of Remansito.
This small-scale savings modality allows its participants to learn financial principles, strengthens relationships of trust between community members and reinforces the importance of savings.
Participants use their savings for various purposes, including purchasing materials and tools for small business ventures or to cover special needs in their families.
Each group holds weekly or biweekly meetings for a period of 8 months to complete a savings cycle.
During December and January, several of the groups in Remansito have completed cycles and many of them have decided to start the next one.
Thanks to the support of many collaborators committed to the comprehensive development of children and adolescents and their families, these and other activities of benefit to the community can be carried out. We thank you for being an important part of this!
