Several families in the Remansito community currently have family gardens in the patios of their homes. This has been possible with the support of the community development program that is implemented from the local community center.
To start their gardens, they received training and a donation of several seeds. In addition, they have the support and advice of experts.
They recently had the opportunity to show and offer their products for sale at the First Family Garden Fair that was held at the Remansito Community Center. Among the harvested products, tomatoes, parsley, green and red peppers, swiss chard, carrots, lettuce, strawberries, etc. were offered.
