Families of Remansito are accompanied and supported to prevent violence and contribute to education and food security
During August, various activities were carried out with the active participation of families from the entire Remansito community.
One of them was the 2nd workshop for API Parents (in Spanish API stands for early childhood care) and School Support. The subject of the training was: The importance of play in childhood. Its objective was to develop in the fathers, mothers and close caregivers, skills to promote play, as a right and as a means of learning and resilience.
These meetings were held both in the neighborhood nuclei and in the Community Center.
Another activity carried out was the preparation of meals for the community, something that in Paraguay we know as “olla popular” (soup kitchen), which allowed many families to receive a nutritious lunch plate and to actively participate, strengthening solidarity and community organization.
