In Remansito, girls, boys and adolescents work with authorities and leaders for a safer community, and their story inspires us every day.
Listening to the voices of children and adolescents is essential to think and work for a City.
On March 20, the youth members of the Rohayu Remansito Committee (CORORE) were able to share with candidates for mayor and council of political parties and movements in the city.
The topics covered were based on four principles, which are the supreme guidelines that govern each of the articles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Girl (Principle of Non-Discrimination; Principle of the Best Interest of the Boy and the Girl ; Principle of the Rights to life and survival; and the Principle to participation and to be heard). Then, the participants discussed and reflected on which Rights are fulfilled and which are violated in their city.
We value the participation of the candidates and we encourage all of them to incorporate what is shared today into their proposals.
Building a City that cares for the integral growth of children, adolescents and young people must be the commitment of all sectors.
