Help rehabilitate three in a family
(Project #55429 from Balajothi Centre for the Disabled)
Funding goal $3000 / Funds raised to date $159
Project Report due on Dec 2, 2022 / Report sent on Nov 21, 2022
Balajothi provides nutrition, medicine and health care to disabled persons from underprivileged and unsupported families. Training is being provided to the physically challenged person in nutrition and childcare. The mother is also taught to share her knowledge and experience with her neighbours.
This project focuses on providing support and rehabilitation to three disabled siblings, all from one family. While two of them are blind, one is a physically challenged girl, who looks after her two younger siblings. Through this generous donation of $159 raised to date you have helped to provide for their sustenance and medical needs. THANK YOU DONOR for your wonderful support !!
This is a long term process of support and care to the disabled children. The rehabilitation and training will continue for as long as the children are alive. Social understanding and acceptance of such situations goes a long way in helping such families to cope with the disasters of life over which they have no control.
Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for their unceasing efforts in educating and providing guidance to institutions for providing this much needed mechanism. THANK YOU GLOBALGIVING !!
