We recently received a baby sloth that had fallen from the mother and was found by dogs (that were very interested in her). The baby sustained minor injuries we addressed in the clinic. Fortunately the mother was still in the area from which the baby was rescued. We had high hopes for this case and were eager to return the baby after a few short days attending to her small scrapes.
We recorded the baby crying and took it back to where it was found to witness an amazing reintroduction between mother and baby. As soon as the recording was playing, we witnessed the mother rush down to get her baby.
The video in the link shows how amazing this was and it is all possible with the support we receive.
Thank you for supporting this work.
