Dear Donor,
since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, nearly 1,500 refugees from across the eastern border have passed through our city.
Successively the group has been decreasing - some have left for big cities or abroad to find better jobs there and more development opportunities for their children, and some have returned to their homeland, unable to live in separation any longer.
Our group also gradually declined - from the initial 30 people, there are 10 left. These people, thanks to your support, were able to continue learning Polish in order to pass the state exam and obtain a certificate confirming knowledge of the language at B1 level. This gives them the opportunity for employment, such as in the education system or medical care.
The group took the exam in April 2024, and what fills us with pride - they all passed the exam and received certificates!
The group became very close and wanted to continue coming to classes. As much as possible, we financed the course for them. But we only had enough funds until October....
We made the decision that we are ending the classes and will not continue them.
We would like to thank you very warmly for your great generosity and support! Without you, we would not have been able to help the people who fled the war so much. Now they are doing better and better - each person has a job that gives satisfaction and reasonable money. They are independent and have more faith in people!
You can still support our other activities:
We are very grateful for your generosity!
