Since 1995, Remote Area Medical (RAM) has been providing healthcare services to people in need on the island of Haiti. Because of COVID-19 and civil unrest in the region, we have been unable to host clinics over the last couple of years. In 2019, we provided 1,057 patients with free medical and dental care valuing more $195,000, and we are excited for the opportunity to return once conditions allow.
Now more than ever, people are in need of these essential medical services. We remain committed to our loyal volunteers and providers who continue our mission of preventing pain and alleviating suffering, even when global events create new challenges to be overcome. We appreciate your continued support during these uncertain times.
