Our project will help communities get involved in the design, development, finance and implementation of environmental activities that will help educate, inform, empower and inspire Nigerians to change and/or modify our attitude towards the environment. We are using a range of communication strategies to empower four(4) communities in the South South of Nigeria to remain environmentally sustainable and broadcast on National and International media as a reality show to inspire the world.
The mismanagement of natural resources, excessive waste generation, increasing urbanization, rising economic activities, rapid population growth, poor management practices, poor attitude towards the environment amongst other environmental conditions pose a challenge to sustainable development in Nigeria. Our attitude towards the environment determines our aptitude towards nation building. How can we change our mental attitude to making a difference with or without government participation?
We provide research and educational materials, facilities and recommendations for provision of relief materials, communication gadgets and volunteer support for the project . We are also involving celebrities volunteers as inspiration for the youth, community groups and other organisational and media support to broadcast the process of research, development and execution of all planned environmental activities carried out to restore these environment and set up as a contest between communities.
This Project will empower four (4) communities to remain environmentally sustainable and inspire thousands more to improve on their environmental condition by providing facilities, mentoring and training community members. Our creative projects will continue in different communities and impact the globe with the replication.
