Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF) provides free skills training to Deaf youth, but many struggle to reach our center due to unsafe and costly transport. This project will replace our old vehicle with a reliable van to safely transport Deaf students to and from training centers. The van will ensure regular attendance, protect dignity, and help Deaf youth continue learning skills for independence and employment.
Deaf youth enrolled in DWAF's free skills training programs depend on daily transport to reach training centers. The organization's existing vehicle is old, unreliable, and no longer safe for regular use. Without a reliable replacement, many Deaf students-who already face mobility, communication, and financial barriers-risk missing training or dropping out entirely, limiting their chances of employment and independence.
By purchasing a new vehicle, DWAF can provide safe, reliable, and consistent transportation for Deaf students attending skills and vocational training. This ensures no student misses sessions due to mobility challenges, increases attendance, reduces dropout rates, and allows participants to fully benefit from DWAF's free programs, empowering them toward education, skill development, and future employment.
A dedicated vehicle will ensure consistent access to training for Deaf students, improving skill development and employability. Over time, more students will complete programs, gain independence, and contribute productively to society. Reliable transport strengthens DWAF's capacity to expand training initiatives, reach more communities, and create lasting opportunities for Deaf youth across Pakistan.
