Every day, many Deaf students supported by DWAF travel long distances through difficult and unsafe transport conditions just to continue their education and skills training. For several students, transportation remains one of the biggest barriers preventing regular attendance, learning opportunities, and independent growth.
With the support of GlobalGiving and generous donors, we are striving to arrange a dedicated van for Deaf students so they can travel safely, consistently, and with dignity. This support is not only about transportation — it is about improving access to education, inclusion, confidence, and future opportunities for Deaf youth who already face communication and social barriers in daily life.
Despite limited resources, DWAF continues working on the ground to support Deaf students through education, awareness, skills development, and empowerment initiatives across Pakistan. We remain hopeful that, with continued support and collective efforts, this dream of accessible transport for Deaf students will soon become a reality.
