Help Provide a Van for Deaf Students

For many Deaf students, access to education begins long before they enter the classroom. One of the biggest challenges is simply having safe and reliable transportation to reach their place of learning every day.

Through this project, Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF) is working to provide a dedicated van for Deaf students so that transportation does not become a barrier to their education, skills development, and future opportunities.

Many of the students we support come from families with limited financial resources. Arranging daily private transportation can be difficult and costly, while dependence on public transport can create additional communication and safety challenges for Deaf students. A dedicated van would provide a safer, more reliable, and accessible way for students to travel to and from their educational and training activities.

The need remains important, and we are continuing our efforts to raise the funds required for the van. Every contribution brings us closer to providing students with dependable transportation and giving their families greater peace of mind.

For these students, a van is much more than a vehicle. It is a bridge to education, skills, independence, and a better future.
